12/10/2014: Dr. Darryl Farber, an Assistant Professor in the Pennsylvania State University's College of Engineering, spoke as part of the University of Maryland's Department of Mechanical Engineering 2014 Seminar Series. 11/26/2014: Members of the Cluster for Sustainability in the Built Environment at the Univeristy of Maryland met with officials from the University of Maryland's Facilities Managment. 11/13/2014: Dr. Srebric, Dr. Heidarinejad, Matt Dahlhausen, Nicholas Mattise, and Saber Koshdel-Nikkho met with research leaders of the US Green Building Council. Previously Building Science Group members co-authored a paper on the cluster of simulated energy use of LEED certified buildings. 09/10 - 09/12/2014: Dr. Mohammad Heidarinejad and Nicholas Mattise, both of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Maryland, present a paper at the 2014 ASHRAE/IBPSA Building SimulationConference in Atlanta, GA. 09/10/2014: Dr. Mohammad Heidarinejad, a postdoctoral research associate in the Mechanical Engineering Department at The University of Maryland was awarded travel awards to the 2014 ASHRAE Building Simulation Conference (provided by IBPSA USA) and one to the Symposium on Building Energy Uncertainty and Risk Analysis (a NSF Sponsored Workshop). Both events are to be held the week of September 8, 2014 in Atlanta, GA.
